Bid Team

As writer and manager of hundreds of grant proposals, Damia has a deep understanding of what it takes to attract funding. She was lead writer on significant proposals such as the Heavy Industry Low-carbon Transition CRC ($39 million grant funding) and the Defence Trailblazer ($50 million), as well as medium-sized proposals such as the Grains Research and Development Corporation Enterprise Choice project for farmers ($4.6 million) and the ARC Training Centre for Integrated Mining ($3.7 million). Damia has a Bachelor of Science with Honours (majoring in zoology and botany), and an MBA (with distinction). This combination of science and business skills allows her to think and act strategically.
