Professor Ian Overton
Chief Executive, Green Industries SA
Ian has over 30 years’ experience in business, research, academia, and government, including positions with the University of Adelaide and the CSIRO. Ian is currently the Chief Executive of Green Industries SA, the South Australian State Government agency driving a green economy. He has a passion for sustainability and enhancing environmental, social, and economic outcomes and the implementation of the circular economy. Ian is also a Professor (Affiliate), at the Adelaide Business School, University of Adelaide. He has a Bachelor of Science Degree with Honours and a PhD. He also has a Graduate Certificate in Management, an MBA and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
