Wendy Mackay is an experienced strategic advisor, bringing together experience in both corporate strategy and sustainability. She is currently a Managing Director at Pollination, a global climate change advisory and investment firm, where she leads client engagements and supports the firm’s growth. Her board and committee roles include the Nature Positive Economy Cooperative Research Centre (CRC) Bid Advisory Committee, Digital Finance Ventures, and Footy for Climate. She was previously a Non-Executive Director at EMM Consulting, an environmental consulting firm.
At Pollination, Wendy has contributed to the development of significant nature-based solutions strategies and sustainability initiatives for major companies across the Asia-Pacific region.
Wendy has previously served as a Managing Director & Partner at Boston Consulting Group (BCG), as a leader in their financial institutions practice and spearheading their social impact, sustainability, and climate work in Australia and New Zealand. She has also held various senior management positions at one of Australia’s largest diversified property companies focused on strategy, M&A and capital transactions. In addition, she has worked with leading international specialist consultancies, ERM and Ramboll, advising corporate and government clients on environmental and sustainability issues.
Wendy holds a Master of Business Administration from the Australian Graduate School of Management, a Master of Science in Environmental Management and Policy from Lund University, Sweden, and a Bachelor of Town Planning (Honours Class 1, University Medal) from the University of New South Wales. She is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Her career reflects a strong commitment to sustainability and strategic innovation.
